Sound familiar?

A shoebox at year end

Twelve months of receipts in a drawer, the auditor waiting, and a weekend gone sorting them.

Charges you can’t explain

A line on the card statement and no idea what it was for — or where its receipt went.

Foreign charges that never add up

The receipt says US$88. The bank took HK$688. Your books say something else again.

From receipt to matched books in three steps

1

Snap the receipt

Point your camera at it. Ceipty finds the edges, captures it, and the AI reads the shop, date, items and total.

2

Import the card statement

Every charge is matched to its receipt. Anything without one is flagged at once.

3

Hand over a clean file

Export CSV or PDF for your accountant — or invite them into the workspace.

Records that keep

Hong Kong’s Inland Revenue Ordinance generally requires business records to be kept for seven years. Ceipty keeps receipts, statements and documents together, ready to export whenever they are asked for.

Encrypted

In transit and at rest. Each account sees only its own records — enforced by the database.

Recoverable

Deleted items wait 30 days in Trash, and every workspace has daily backups.

Yours

Export everything as CSV or PDF at any time. Never sold, never used for ads.

Ceipty helps you keep records. It is not tax, accounting or legal advice.

Questions

Does it replace my accountant?

No — it hands your accountant matched, complete records instead of a box of paper, which is usually where their time (and your bill) goes.

How do I get my card statement in?

In Bank reconciliation, import the statement or a screenshot of it. Ceipty matches each line to a receipt and flags what is missing.

What does “bank-settled” mean?

A foreign charge is only an estimate until the statement shows what the bank actually took. Ceipty records the settled amount, so your books match the bank.

Can my accountant see it?

Yes. Invite them to your workspace with the access you choose. No one else sees anything.

What does it cost?

There is a free plan with 3 AI scans a week and no card needed. Paid plans are coming soon.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It works in any browser on a laptop or phone. An iPhone app is on the way, on the same account.
